Perhentian Island – 1997

Before I really got hooked with diving and a job associated with it, I was an ordinary diving tourist on this beautiful island Perhentian in north-east Malaysia.

Here is a video I made on one of those weekend trips from Kuala Lumpur to Perhentian Island. It’s only 4 hours: 1 hour taxi to KL Airport, 1 hour flight to Kota Bharu, 1 hour taxi to Kuala Besut, 1 hour boat to Perhentian Long Beach.
